WELCOME TO THE ALLIER in the heart of the Bourbonnais bocage for an unforgettable stay !
his region in the heart of France, 3 hours from Paris and 3 hours from Lyon, offers you an immense range of activities and landscapes. You are not so far away!
The Allier is renowned for its various thermal spas (including Bourbon l’Archambault) but also for its rich artistic culture thanks to the passage of the Dukes of Versailles during the Bourbon era. Between history and art museums, music festivals of various kinds, street art city, nature and outdoor activities, sensational sports, you will surely find the experience to live in the sublime Allier.
For a first immersion in the magic of the Bourbonnaise, go to Moulins, capital of the Dukes of Bourbon. You can stroll through its historic quarter and imagine yourself living in the 16th century.
The Allier, as wild as it is unexpected, is also a rich and green nature. You can hike on the puy du Roc, admire natural waterfalls, taste local and unique wines in Saint Pourçain sur Sioule.
For the more experienced (and sporty among you) the great crossing of the Massif Central passes through the Allier, well known to mountain bikers. If you prefer a more leisurely ride, there are many paths in the forest, along the river and in the pond, where you can pedal without forcing yourself. Then, homemade and gourmet snacks await you at the Hob!
